Kai Cenat Purchases $5 Million Atlanta House for Ray, Tylil, and Rakai
Streaming sensation Kai Cenat has made headlines once again, this time for his latest act of generosity. During a live Twitch broadcast, the 23-year-old American content creator revealed that he had purchased a new house in Atlanta for three of his closest collaborators: Ray (known online as "rayasianboy"), Tylil James, and Rakai. Valued at approximately $5 million.
The announcement, which quickly gained traction across social media platforms like X and YouTube, was met with enthusiasm from fans and peers alike. A video uploaded to Ray’s YouTube channel on March 29, titled "Kai Cenat SURPRISES Ray & Rakai With A New House In ATLANTA!", captured the moment the group learned of their new home, showcasing their genuine excitement.
This gesture builds on Cenat’s reputation for leveraging his meteoric rise he’s one of Twitch’s most-followed streamers, boasting over 500,000 subscribers during his record-breaking "Mafiathon 2" subathon in November 2024 to uplift those who’ve been integral to his journey.
Ray, a Taiwanese streamer who first crossed paths with Kai Cenat during a Japan trip in 2023, has become a fan favorite thanks to his appearances in Cenat’s content, including the subathon where he played a starring role.
And Tylil James, a childhood friend from Cenat’s native New York, brings a longstanding bond to the group, while Rakai, a younger collaborator who’s steadily built his own following, rounds out the trio with his energetic presence. Together, they’ve formed a dynamic that resonates with Cenat’s millions of viewers, making the new Atlanta house a logical next step for their creative partnership.
The property itself, while still shrouded in some mystery, was partially unveiled in a follow-up video on March 30 titled "Kai Cenat, Rayasianboy & Rakai’s NEW $5,000,000 House Tour!" on Ray’s channel. The footage offered a peek into a spacious, modern home designed to accommodate both living and working needs, complete with areas tailored for streaming and video production.
Unlike the main AMP house in Atlanta, where Cenat and his core crew Duke Dennis, Fanum, and others base their operations, this new residence is specifically for Ray, Tylil, and Rakai. It’s a strategic move to give them independence while keeping them tied to Cenat’s broader content ecosystem. Cenat’s investment in real estate for his friends isn’t a new playbook. In July 2024, he purchased what he called a “personal house” and allowed Ray to set up there.
