Ronaldo Would "Never" Go to Arsenal? Evra Spills the Beans on CR7's Transfer Secrets

Cristiano Ronaldo would "never" join Arsenal, according to former teammate Patrice Evra. Evra claims Ronaldo turned down offers from the Gunners, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, highlighting his preference for top clubs.

Ronaldo

Remember when Cristiano Ronaldo was at the top of his game, dominating for Real Madrid? Well, according to his former Manchester United teammate Patrice Evra, the Portuguese superstar had some pretty interesting transfer options back in 2018.

Evra revealed on RMC Sport that Ronaldo actually considered joining Paris Saint-Germain before ultimately choosing Juventus. He also mentioned that Chelsea was in the mix, but there was one team Ronaldo absolutely wouldn't touch Arsenal.

"Has Cristiano ever wanted to come to PSG? Yes. There was Paris, Arsenal... That was before he signed for Juventus (in 2018). He had Chelsea, Juventus, Paris. He said he would never go to Arsenal," Evra shared.

Now, this might come as a surprise to some, but it seems Ronaldo was pretty clear about his preferences. While he was interested in the PSG project, Arsenal was a complete no-go.

Maybe it was a rivalry thing, maybe it was just a personal preference, but one thing's for sure - Ronaldo's got his own ideas about where he wants to play.

Of course, Ronaldo's career has been filled with trophies and accolades, playing for some of the biggest clubs in the world. He's already cemented his place as one of the greatest players of all time, regardless of which team he chose to play for.

So, while we might never know the exact reason behind Ronaldo's Arsenal aversion, it's a fun little tidbit to add to the ever-growing Ronaldo lore. Who knows, maybe one day we'll get the full story from the man himself.
