Former Chelsea legend and manager, Frank Lampard, recently shared an anecdote about his encounter with football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, during a holiday.


In an interview with BBC Sport, Lampard recounted his chance meeting with the Portugal captain while both were vacationing at the same hotel.

Lampard humorously mentioned how he deliberately kept his distance from Ronaldo, admiring the footballer's impressive physical condition from afar. However, he couldn't resist the opportunity for his son to have a photo with the renowned player.

Recalling the moment, Lampard recounted putting on a t-shirt quickly to pose for a picture with Ronaldo, acknowledging the player's exceptional career.

Moreover, Lampard praised Ronaldo's commitment to fitness, noting how the former Real Madrid and Juventus star maintained a rigorous gym routine, even during his holiday. 

Lampard expressed admiration for Ronaldo's dedication to his craft, applauding him for his relentless work ethic.
