Tyla made a grand entrance at the 2024 Met Gala, effortlessly floating up the steps with the help of a few assisting hands. 

The 22-year-old "Water" singer chose a mesmerizing outfit for her Met Gala debut on May 6, drawing inspiration from "the sands of time," as she revealed on the red carpet.

Her form-fitting Balmain ensemble, complete with an hourglass clutch, presented a challenge to navigate, leading to moments where she needed assistance climbing the staircase at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, captured by red carpet cameras.

This year's Met Gala theme, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," follows the dress code of "The Garden of Time," inspired by J.G. Ballard's 1962 short story of the same title.

Olivier Rousteing, the creative mind behind Balmain, shared with Vogue that Tyla's dress was designed to break boundaries and elevate a transient material into a timeless masterpiece.

The dress featured three shades of sand intertwined with micro crystal studs, embodying a blend of innovation and elegance.
