Prior to the match, Drake took to Instagram to disclose his hefty bet of $565,000 on Fury securing the win, potentially netting him over $1 million in returns.

However, the unexpected outcome saw Usyk clinch victory over Fury by split decision in Saudi Arabia

claiming the title of the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion in 24 years. Usyk now holds the WBC title in addition to his existing WBA, IBF, and WBO belts.

Drake's financial setbacks in the realm of sports betting have been notable, with previous losses including a six-figure sum,

following Anthony Joshua's triumph over Francis Ngannou, and a subsequent $700,000 loss after Dricus Du Plessis defeated Sean Strickland at UFC 297.
