Song written by TemsTems and produced by Spax and Guiltybeatz, ‘Love Me JeJe’ pays homage to Nigerian artist Seyi Sodimu's 1997 hit of the same name. Tems' rendition is a lively Afro-pop track, showcasing her melodious voice as she expresses deep affection for a like-minded romantic partner.

‘Love Me JeJe’ serves as the lead single from Tems' forthcoming debut studio album, ‘Born In The Wild,’ set for release next month.

In a recent statement following the release of her single 'Love Me JeJeLove Me JeJe' on April 26, 2024, Tems shared that her debut album Summarizes the transformative experiences and valuable lessons that have shaped her identity.


Reflecting on the album's concept, Tems explained to Apple Music, " 'Born in the Wild' narrates my personal journey.

It delves into the experiences that have defined me and the wisdom I've gained along the way. The title symbolizes emerging from a metaphorical wilderness, where my past struggles and triumphs have sculpted me into the person I am today."


During her debut at the Coachella Music Festival, the critically acclaimed artist delivered a captivating performance of the song across both weekends. Billboard praised her "striking set" against a picturesque outdoor backdrop that complemented her soulful and commanding vocals.
