Wizkid Opens Up About His Dislike for Promoting His Songs

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer Ayodeji Balogun, widely recognized as Wizkid, recently expressed his aversion to promoting his music, highlighting his commitment to the "soft life" mantra.

In a video circulating online, the acclaimed artist was seen engaging in a discussion about his songs with colleagues in the studio, where he openly shared his dislike for promotional activities and interactions with the press.

Wizkid, the owner of Starboy Entertainment and a prominent figure in the music industry, revealed that he prefers to minimize stress, which is why he often records his tracks while sitting down. Interestingly, some of his biggest hits, such as 'Holla at your Boy,' 'Ojuelegba,' and 'Joro,' were produced in this relaxed position.

The Grammy-winning artist is known for his enigmatic celebrity persona, frequently deleting pictures from his social media accounts and unfollowing numerous individuals. Continuing this trend, Wizkid recently surprised his fans by unfollowing everyone on Instagram, including his own team, except for the street-hop rapper and singer, Naira Marley.

Just three days after hinting at the possibility of releasing new music through a tweet, Wizkid maintains his air of mystery, further captivating his audience with unexpected social media maneuvers.
