In a whirlwind of online drama, Nollywood sensation Sarah Martins has set the internet abuzz with her public apology to Nigerian music icon Davido and his family. The stunning apology stems from a post she made about deadbeat fathers that left social media users divided and intrigued.

It all started when Davido's first baby mama, Sophia, went on a rant about her struggles as the sole responsible parent for their daughter. Enter Sarah, who took to Facebook and penned a lengthy write-up about absentee fathers who neglect their duties, leaving the burden solely on the mothers. While she made it clear at the end of the post that it wasn't directed at Davido's situation with Sophia, she accompanied it with a photo of Sophia Momodu, adding fuel to the fire.

But as quickly as the controversial post went up, it vanished into thin air. Sarah deleted it and swiftly issued an apology, aiming to set the record straight with the Adeleke family, especially Davido and his cousin Clark Adeleke. In her heartfelt message, she stressed that her intentions were never to attack the family.

"To whom it may concern, my last post was never intended to disrespect Davido or his family," she expressed. "Anyone who follows social media can attest that David has been an outstanding father to all his children. Perhaps I should have refrained from using Sophia's picture as a reference, and thus, I have taken the post down."

Sarah didn't stop there; she went on to extend her apologies to her dear friend Clark Adeleke, expressing her remorse for causing him any distress. She made it clear that her post was never meant to disrespect their family or belittle Davido. "Please forgive me," she implored, "I still stand against deadbeat fathers, but definitely not agai

not David."
