Man Utd and Arsenal's Champions League draw pots confirmed ahead of return next season

Manchester United and Arsenal, two prominent Premier League clubs, are set to make a highly anticipated return to the prestigious Champions League next season.

After a temporary absence from the competition, both teams have discovered their potential opponents as they gear up for the upcoming campaign.

United's absence from the Champions League has been relatively short, lasting only one season. However, it has been a much longer wait for Arsenal, who last competed in the tournament six years ago during Arsene Wenger's penultimate season as manager.

Since then, the Gunners have struggled to secure qualification, with their last appearance marred by a crushing 10-2 defeat against Bayern Munich in the round of 16. But under the leadership of current boss Mikel Arteta, Arsenal aims to move forward and create a fresh narrative.

The anticipation grows as Arteta and his team, alongside Erik ten Hag's Manchester United, eagerly anticipate the group stage draw, which is scheduled to take place in August. This draw will serve as a crucial starting point for both clubs, allowing them to map out their journey towards the grand final at Wembley in 2024.

Fortunately, there is some relief for United and Arsenal as they won't have to face last season's finalists, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. These formidable teams, alongside Arsenal and the Red Devils, find themselves placed in Pot 2, thereby avoiding a potential early clash.

With their sights set on European glory, Manchester United and Arsenal eagerly await the moment when their Champions League campaigns will kick off once again.
