Davido Reacts to Release of Media Tour Interviews for 'Timeless'


Davido, the 30 BG boss, has shared his response to the recent release of his media tour interviews for his album 'Timeless.' The interviews, which were conducted during the promotion of his fourth studio album, have been steadily unveiled since the beginning of June 2023.


 In these interviews, Davido discussed various topics including the growth of afrobeats, fellow Nigerian artists such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, D'banj, Rema, and even his own album, as well as his family and children.


Taking a lighthearted approach, Davido playfully expressed his surprise at the sudden influx of interview releases and the ensuing reactions from music enthusiasts. He shared a post on his social media platform saying, "Why are all these interviews dropping now? My mouth is hurting me..."


Davido faced backlash and a negative reaction when he referred to Burna Boy as the "new cat" in the music industry. 


Many fans and followers of Burna Boy considered it disrespectful and belittling. The comment sparked a heated debate among music enthusiasts, highlighting the existing rivalry between the two artists.
